Scrappers!

It seems odd that not so long ago I was telling someone that we never got goldfinches in the garden, as nowadays, the sky goes dark when they arrive or depart ;-)
They are such messy eaters. They only go for the sunflower harts, and they drop more into the tray than they eat, and they scrap constantly!
Today I decided fairly quickly to stay indoors. I made a start on the winter job of tidying my photos - moving, sorting, deleting etc, I read for a while and pickled some onions. There is snow forecast for tomorrow, but I'm hoping it won't be anything serious, as we are meeting up with friend for lunch, and I'd like to squeeze in a walk if possible. Thinking about all the blippers north of the border and hoping they are not suffering the effects of the gales!
