Stormy sky

With Central Scotland Police warning people not to travel because of very high winds we are confined to the house this afternoon.We managed round the wood this morning but dread to think how many trees have been blown down since .

The traffic outside is steady but many people have been sent home early from work and schools closed at lunchtime.

It was snow last year at this time and now the gale force winds are disrupting the country. We are preparing our meal early in case the power goes off! Torches, lamps , candles and matches at the ready. Here's hoping we don't need them!
