100 Blips A.G.

Here it is! My 100th blip after Greenzowie took me to a Blip social, let me have beer and suggested a journal of my own might be fun.

These fine fellows are two of the dinosaurs in Crystal Palace Gardens, unveiled in 1854. They were designed and sculpted by Benjamin Waterhouse Hawkins, with the help of Sir Richard Owen, a celebrated biologist and palaeontologist of the time. They used comparative biology to guess what the dinosaurs looked like so, even though they're now known to be very inaccurate, they're still fascinating and hugely impressive.

These iguanodon guys are crying out to be captioned, no? Go on, have a go :-)
