Annual face painting

The 8th of December in Ireland is 'Shopping Day' or 'Farmers' Day'. It's when farmers traditionally do their Christmas shopping! Many of the schools round here are closed for the day and the shops are open until late.

Our friends have an annual gig at the SuperValu in Skibbereen where they entertain Christmas shopping families with balloon modelling and face painting. This photo is Ruth getting ready to go and be one of the face painters.
