Citizen Barking

Off to the hospital this morning for B to have his metal plate removed. He had an op five months ago on his shoulder, and today it came out. He was only in for a few hours, and then we came home.

This afternoon I became a New Zealander. My parents are here and it was great to be able to share this with them. Rae, B and CP came along too. B looked a little green around the gills, but was staunch; he wanted to be there.

I got a tree.

Home for whisky and pavlova.

I've pretty much got my house back too.

Today is the first day of the rest of my life.
