Golden Barrel Cactus

I just loved how the late afternoon sun made this cactus glow.

Eye-popping in large.

It's not one I have covered to protect it from the overnight freeze. This one is in my front yard. I have another one in back. They both made it through the hard freezes of last winter (but I lost a smaller one). I refuse to cut up another sheet. Just another night or so, then the grand "uncovering" and finger pricking will commence.
