This is the view from my perch next to Alice's bed and where I spend some time most evenings. She likes a story and some company while she drifts off to sleep. Normally she sleeps very quickly and quite often Chris will come and get me some time after she has fallen asleep. It must be the point in the evening where I also stop and take great pleasure in the moment of doing nothing. Those moments are few and far between. Guess that I have got to try and make them, but in the meantime bedtime's as good a time as any.
