Another advent calendar

Visited my friend L for a lovely lunch today. While I was there I noticed this advent calendar I made her eldest son before M was around. Every time I see it I am guilt ridden over the fact that L's boys have an - albeit Blue Peter style - hand sewn one, while M's is made of store bought paper bags.
Oh well, no time for sewing when you have your own kids.
And there's a certain shabby chic to the red paper bags.
And M loves them!
