Norwich Castle - and Robert Kett
On 7th December 1549 Robert Kett was hung from the walls of Norwich Castle, seen here and here is a bit of background about Kett's Rebellion.
This evening the good folk from Occupy Norwich have organised a walk from the camp up to the Castle in memory of Kett and his men which leaves the Haymarket at 5pm. I will be with them in spirit.
I'm feeling a little better following yesterday's rant - thanks to many wise and supportive messages from friends and comrades.
One of the very best things someone said was 'your parents would have been mightily pissed off with this country if they were alive but pleased that you have turned out so gobby.' A bit like my gran, now I come to think of it.
