Living room

Today I rang the insurance company to see how our claim is progressing, we need to know if it will be a repair or a rebuild as it could go either way. I didn't expect to find out yet, but I was told it IS a rebuild. While a new house will be good and a better deal for us in the long run, I was rather surprised and sad. We've been here 20 years and our 3 children have grown up in this little house.

So I shed a few tears and took photos to document the house in it's natural state, on a sunny day. We'll be here for years yet perhaps, while the quakes fade away and the insurance company gets organised.
