Anemone

A busy day trying to catch up with myself before the holidays begin. I nipped out for five minutes to have a wander around the garden and noticed the anemones had flowered. I bought the bulbs from a bargain bucket in B&Q for 10p because they were way past their best for planting. I love a bargain and a challenge, so planted them anyway and was rewarded with these wonderful deep blue and purple flower heads. It made me happy in an otherwise humdrum kind of day :)

The two baby mice are still lodging with us, I can't bear to let them go yet. They are just far too small and vulnerable.
