Willow

Our lovely willow lost a major arm today, it had gotten so heavy that several vans could no longer park beneath it - but more critically it was beginning to rest on the gas service lines and meters - not such a good situation. So although a loss and a bit of heartache, the dock faced the surgery. Actually the tree at about 100 years with a huge trunk out of sight in this photo looks fairly strong and regal without this long arm. So all is well. I had fun catching the falling piece in the air!
