Pile of Rags

Today I finally got round to printing some dry point etchings I did a very long time ago, but have spent months procrastinating and neglecting my creative side. Was happy with the results, but the subject matter's a bit bland: it's a series of whisky distilleries I'm doing for a Scottish themed exhibition and, as much as I'm a massive fan of a wee dram of single malt, I'm looking forward to doing something a bit more adventurous for my next project. Incidentally, the rags in the photo are scrim and used to scrape excess ink off your copper or zinc plate and can lead to quite an interesting, painterly effect if you want to add a bit of texture to your etch.
