sunshine and snow

It was a gorgeous crisp blue sky snowy day here in Inverness. I got out at lunchtime for a quick blip hunt and liked the shape of these tree trunks against the white and blue.

We didn't go for our planned trip out today with the class as the side roads were a bit icy. We went out into the grounds and messed about in the snow instead and then came back in and had some hot chocolate and made snowflake decorations for the windows! Everyone was very happy with plan B.
