Another day another dollar another lunchtime wander to Princes Street Gardens. But this time armed with the 500mm lens. Good job too, the place was teeming with life (links below - including a Waxwing, which was quite some height up, it's the one cropped image). Anyway, I spotted this Rat in a bin, and sat down on some railing across the path (me, not the rat) waiting to see if it would reappear. The wee birds buzzing about, and multitudinous squirrels meant I wasn't staring at nothing the whole time. Had a chat with a workman about the rats and wildlife photography in general while waiting. All quite pleasant really.
No news on the job, but I didn't expect any today. The end of the week is more likely.
