Scarlett Women

On my way to town, I spotted these cheerful poinsettias across the road in my neighbour's yard.
They were towering above a high wall, and my guess is that they easily stood 10 to 15 feet tall.
I blipped them with the sun in a 2 o'clock position - but there was no other option.

The mountain was today shrouded in a dense vapour haze; the outline was barely visible. News forecast has it that a cold front is on its way - I guess winter has to come sooner or later.
