Would you 'Adam & Eve' it!

Sparrow's gone off on his 'Tod' (or 'Jack Jones', if you would prefer) and he hasn't been seen for a fair few days. Nobody's heard a 'Dickie Bird' from him.

I called in at his local, the Adam & Eve on the High Road (It's a very old pub. Adam & Eve themselves used to drink there. Eve was a bit partial to the cider, apparently!)

None of the regulars had seen Sparrow's 'boat race' since last week. They all promised to keep their 'minces' peeled for him and give me a ring on the 'you know what' if he turns up.

I hope young Sparrow is not in any 'Barney Rubble' ...
