It was our turn to go see Emma's school nativity play. I took some video on my phone and this one before the thing started. It's not the camera - I've blurred all the faces except Emma, just so nobody gets upset. They seem to have a rising scale of importance in these productions. In Reception year they are elves, moving on to townspeople in Year 1, angels in Year 2, before reaching the pinnacle of nativitism in Year 3 when they get to play the lead characters.
