Cooking apples

Finally got my new special gloves ready for the big freeze. They are gloves that u can wear and still use your iPhone without having to take them off. I could tell everyone at was amazed and will be asking Santa for a pair for Christmas. Did have one argument over them though as someone was adamant that she wears leather gloves and can still use her touch screen. So I spent today putting on various leather gloves and trying to use my iPhone, not one pair worked. I even tried my mates 1970's style brown leather gloves, like the ones V wore in prisoner cell block H. They didn't work either. All in all a productive day at work.

Catching the train back home one of the train crew who is a really good mate, told us about this strange cake she had to look after for 10 days. I think you have to add ingredients each day and on the 10th day "THERE SHALL BE CAKE" (once you've cooked it). She metioned that she had to put apples in one of the days and she used "the red ones". I asked why didn't she use Cooking apples, she said what are cooking apples used for???????
