Three things to spot.

Chloe, a duck and Trev! The weather today just could not make up its mind. I have a lovely bright shot of Chloe in the park and Trev's shot taken a few minutes before this suggests a totally different light.
Last year we were here and watched some people in a boat hacking their way through the ice so as to keep a passage open through the ice to give access to the house on the island.
The little building which you can see on the island was built to look like a fort by the original builder of the house which stands on the island. He organised mock attacts on the island with real cannon and attacks by water. They certainly knew how to enjoy themselves in Eighteenth Century Keswick!
