Contorted hazel - 2

Had another go at the contorted hazel today, using a tripod this time! I'm so lazy I hardly ever use one. But if I try to use autofocus on the contorted hazel the camera doesn't know which bit to focus on and zooms around constantly without ever settling, so I have to use manual focus and it's really difficult to keep the picture in focus at such close range without a tripod. Not sure I like my results as much today, which often seems to happen - maybe the novelty wears off after the first time. I wonder how these buds will fare over the next few months?
