Lorikeet Party

This was taken at lunch time today. On the foreshore park are a number of mid sized trees all in flower at the moment with these pink flowers. They look very pretty. I have no idea what they are so if anyone knows perhaps you could let me know. The flowers obviously are full of nectar because a large gang of Rainbow Lorikeets were feeding off them having a party. They looked like colourful Christmas ornaments on the tree. They (the lorikeets) really are noisy buggers. I can image they were quite tipsy and all singing terrible drunk lorikeet songs to each other and telling dirty lorikeet jokes.

I have nearly caught up with your journals. I still have a few to go but I will get there.
