Lollies, Firemen and Santa

What more could a child want?

The local volunteer firemen do a lolly run annually with Santa on top of the Fire Trucks. They used to have Santa hiffing lollies off the top of the truck, but the Health and Safety gnomes lot put stop to that, so now Santa just tops the truck and waves, while the firemen/women run behind with buckets of lollies giving them to anyone who is outside.

My girls were sitting outside for about 45 minutes watching the preparation, and making sure they had first dibs from the truck.

Love those people, they do such a lot for our community, and are damned good neighbours.
