Not a Very Exciting Blip....but....

what we did today!

Son mixed bag after 80 pound bag (21 in all!) of Sakrete today, completing the wheelchair ramp Husband designed for behind our house. Daughter and I screeded as Son shoveled the mix into the forms.

Son floated the surface, then brushed the surface with a broom and finally finished the edges. What a task for a 4' wide, 10' long walkway!

The kids worked so hard on this project today and I cannot say just how proud we are of a job well done! The walk is now covered in plastic, blankets, and is toasty warm with a heater nearby. I can't wait until this project is totally finished!
