Poor Odds

There are loads of these "amusement" arcades springing up all over the place. One chain, Oasis, seems to have lots of money behind it and the fit-out is almost casino-like compared to the older places. I suppose it's a sign of the times and rather than try to reduce outgoings, many people try to win money to get by, losing most of their cash. It's a tax on the mathematically-challenged, just like the National Lottery, I suppose. Sad times!
