The Shepherd's Warning

The first snow arrived overnight and we awoke to two inches of the white stuff in Peebles. Though our little road was covered, the main roads were fine for the daily commute, though I was glad I had my winter tyres fitted a couple of weeks ago.

Even to the north, the sky took on a red glow, and this is looking towards the Pentland Hills from the moors just south of Penicuik.
