Optimism

Work has recommenced on the second phase of an incubation facility for start up business (Synergy Centre) here in the Institute where I work. Due to the implosion of the economy and builders going bust, work had stopped. Now it is back on.

We cannot compete with cheap manufacturing costs on the far side of the world. Our future in Ireland is in high end R&D.
