Snowy nest
There was a lot more snow last night and this morning everything looked wonderful as it was also very cold and the snow lay where it had fallen.
This wee robin darted about chirruping away as if to ask me to hurry up and put some food out for him. I took several shots but loved this one as he looks as if he is in a soft white nest of snow held by the cup the branches have made.
Its been a very busy morning and I am just taking breath with a cuppa to write out my To Do list and then I will know what I need to accomplish before midnight!. Tomorrow I am off on the first stage of an exciting holiday. Both Cara and Bruce were collected today by their respective "carers" and that didn't go without a hitch, mainly due to the snow. As the roads were a bit dicey MeaMo and I decided it would make sense to walk him up to her house rather than risk the car. As we were getting him ready my other friend came for Cara - both dogs were so excited that in the melee that ensued, Cara escaped and we had to dash off into the snow to call her back. Meantime Bruce had found the big bag of food I had been carrying, to hand over for Cara, and his wee head was firmly down inside the bag as he swiftly scoffed as much as he could! Anyway they are both safely in their respective holiday homes where I know they will be much loved in my absence.
I took another couple of photos which I will upload later into my blipfolio. Berries., sunrise
