evening on the estuary

Cowichan Bay and Cowichan River estuary were busy this evening. Low tide and the birds were feeding - ducks, sea gulls, geese and swans. We could hear the seal lions barking.

This afternoon ravens and bald eagles soared over the bay and near Mount Tzouhalem.
