Stranded

A spot of car trouble delayed our expected departure from Mazatlán. Despite the best efforts of my new friend, the bellhop Arturo, no one was available to come and look at our car on a Sunday, so we were forced to stay an extra day at our beachfront resort. A down day, with no possibility of getting behind the wheel is enough to drive a person to drink at the swim-up bar. We managed to limit our intake to a single beer prior to enjoying a bottle of wine on our balcony. We were also able to get in a lot of unexpected reading while basking in the sunshine. There are many, many worse places to be stranded.
