Elf on my shelf

I read on a forum (M*****t for those that want to know) about this "Elf on a Shelf" that you could buy for much money and which came with a storybook. The story told how the elves all were sent by Father Christmas to spy on children and so on. Being a tightarse from Yorkshire, I dediced that this was a rip off but I would tell my children about spying elves anyway...

Well! This little chap turned up on 1st December. Lily had a whole long conversation with him (aloud rather that in her head unfortunately) and she informed me that he had been sent blah blah blah.

When she came down on 2nd December - HE HAD MOVED!!!! She was delighted. Then we forgot. And we forgot again. So Bella moved him today on behalf of Lily.

Just in case there are any doubters out there, I suggest you watch any of the Toy Story films - just because he looks like a inanimate stuffed toy... ;-)

I have once again caught up on back blips. None are particularly brilliant but may be of mild interest to the Granparents of course. However, I have been experimenting and would appreciate constructive criticsim/advice on my bent boat!. Thank you
