till you drop. Or at least need a little rest.

Today we had planned to go for a nice country walk but the weather had other ideas! So into town we went on a mission to find an industrial strength blow torch. That is in order to do the sugar in top of creme brulee's justice and create instant toffee or whatever it ends up being.

It proved an expensive outing due in part to me being freezing and needing to buy a vets (AKA a The North Face T-shirt) I also noticed that Stephen King has a new book out and BabyBird a recent album. Hay ho.

On the way back to the care managed to find a discounted Thomas The Tank Engine advent calendar for Lauren. She might be nearly 21 but you never really grow out of liking a nice choccie each day :-)
