Nic had gone doen to the coast with the kids as it is still there holiday. I trined it to Canterbury and rode the rest of the way through bueatiful (joe, sort out spellchek please) countryside.

It is the first time I have ridden my fancy roadbike outside of London and it was a bit of a shock. I do everything in bursts of speed. So I came out of the station and pelted up this hill only to run out of energy after a mile or so. All the stops and starts in town must give me time to get my strength back. I had to adopt a new slow and steady aproach.

I also noticed how hard my saddle is.
