Lessons
Wilkinson - Tonight (After Midnight Remix)
Some lessons are hard to learn; the seemingly easiest ones are the most frustrating...
On the last train back home I needed to go to the bathroom VERY badly. I was trying to hold out but I had 6 stops to go but simply COULDN'T hold it. So out I was, fully relieved, only to be faced with another problem... getting home. I decided to walk and boy it was enjoyable. I took some photos and enjoyed the scenic views. Although not "scenic" by many standards, I always enjoy seeing parts of Japan that I haven't seen before. It was great until it started drizzling. It took me about 20 minutes to walk to the next station, excluding photo taking, and just gave up and was lucky to find a cab. They are few and far between in the suburbs.
The cab driver was really great and had a relatively good grasp of English. His meter wasn't working so he charged very little. He used to have an old Mamiya camera that used 120mm film, brilliant format, and he liked to take, "movement" photos which we then agreed as being "art" photos. Sometimes these unexpected mishaps become beautiful gems of gold.
