Birthday girls

With a combined age of 137, Margaret (Lizzie's mum) and Yvonne provided a great excuse for another outing to La Ferme Marine today for lunch. This is not a restaurant for those who like their dining fine, it is a restaurant for those who like lots and lots of shellfish. It has a fantastic buffet to which you can return again and again for yet another succulent crab claw or another half dozen oysters. Bang on the coast with its own oyster factory it seats at least 150 and was full to the gunnels today with lots of happy people getting messy and fat.
And then there's the ice-cream sundae complete with ferocious sparkler if you happen to be a birthday belle. Thanks, Thelma and Louise, for being a year older.
