Memories

A year ago we went on our annual trip to Harrods. Every year shaki and I go to the Xmas dept and buy one decoration for the tree. Last year we took mum when she was down visiting, so this year we thought we would take her again.

As soon as we got there she remembered that we took her photo by the tree. So we decided to do it again this year. A nice moment in what's been a difficult week. Tomorrow we will put up the tree, a little early but mum is nearly as excited as I am. I love Christmas and the fact that for a few days each year everyone comes together and old differences are forgotten.
