The farrier came today, the boys were good and stood nicely. Now RedRiderGirl can ride 'Meuter in her lessons and not work Chester at Dottie's. I don't really like that crack in his hoof, but the farrier assured me that it isn't worth worrying about. At least he didn't try to sell me a special shoe for it. I would have fallen for it.
