Had a great trip to Auckland,we won a Radiolive competition, stayed in a lovely hotel only 3 blocks away from the
central city which was buzzing. Fight for Life ; Cold Chisel; Breakers Basketball; Hockey - the new Art Gallery....Sky Tower.... so much to do in Auckland - made us both realize just the enormity of the quake in Christchurch which also used to hussle and be buzzing.I feel sorry more the young ones of Canterbury,there isn't a lot to keep them around.Here's hoping they can get something sorted sooner rather than later.
Also, just the how spread out Auckland really is...the traffic, the cosmopoltian life styles......eye opening indeed. Nice place to visit, can't say whether I would be able to live there though...the humitity is amazing after the dryness of Canterbury.
Was out watering as soon as we got home!!!
