Bridge Across The Water
The planned image didn't come off today but then nor did one or two other things. As planned days go this one certainly didn't follow it.
I wanted to capture the village roadside Christmas lights but it wasn't to be. The images were all fuzzy and no playing with settings made any difference. Anyway, when I got back home it transpired that the lens on my phone had some gunk on it and once cleaned off were back in action.
We needed to take son to a friends house later in the evening so out came the phone once again and I took some images as we travelled around in the dark.
This one is of the Clifton Suspension Bridge, Bristol from a distance. I like the traces of the lights to the right of the image though the bridge itself is in reasonable focus considering we were doing about 40 mph.
I thought of cropping the image some to take the black out of the left hand side but then thought better of it as I think it brings across just how dark and empty it can be out there.
