Driving Home For Christmas...

The best thing about dark afternoons is coming home to a lit house.

When we left the house earlier this afternoon the sky was alternating between black heavy rain filled clouds and white fluffy scooting across the sky ones scattering shadows across the sun.

I looked at the hallway as I left, and thought - lights for returning and flicked them on.

We drove down to Ayr and we giggled as we talked about where we had lived and loved before and as we chatted I thought to myself, so far we have actually had a lovely life.

I've been dragging myself out of a dip this week - and was loosing sight of the good things around me.

Spending the morning with my husband and daughter and having a giggle on line with my Boy, made me realise what's important.

And coming home, after a couple of hours squealing with excitement at Tooli's volleyball, to a warm and inviting front door was all I needed to put a lid on my downess!
