A proper pub

Had to travel up to at the last minute for an overnight stay in Bedford. Being a country boy at heart it's not my favorite place. Fortunately it has two redeeming features; excellent curry houses and the Wellington Arms pub.

The pub is tucked away in a backstreet of the town, nestling in the shadow of large multi-story car park. Once you enter it's like another world, hundreds of bottled beers and beer mats adorn the walls, live music from home grown folk bands, and then there's the dozen or so real ales to choose from.
