Let There Be Light ....

... and there was light - well, lots of lights actually!
I spent this afternoon putting up my outside Christmas lights on the fence facing the road. The mesh light on top of the shed roof took about an hour - demolishing part of a now-defunct rambling rose and a mass of dead clematis stems, foliage and seedheads just to get the stepladder to where I needed it by the back wall, to secure the top of the mesh to the apex of the roof. There are also lights in the back garden - lovely to have something to watch out of the kitchen window when doing boring things like washing up, cooking etc.
Just indoors to do now ..... but not on a Satuday night, I have other plans! lol
