stone

passed through the town square on my way home this morning and saw the three specially commissioned stone orb sculptures about the be installed on the pavement. they are part of the omart project which I think has produced several works for meldrum so far. the stones are carved and look ace. I heard someone moaning about how much they cost yesterday - but I really think they are great and add to the look of the whole square and town hall.

I didn't stay to watch them being taken off the lorry - but they are now in place...a blip for another day.
