Corbridge

Staying here in Corbridge with friends over the weekend. The village goes back to Roman times and there are still remains of settlements in the area.

We have been coming to Corbridge for almost 20 years and still look forward to our visits. There is a lovely feel to the place with its old market square and this bridge, which goes back to 1674, although a bridge of some sort has been on the site since 1235.

The weather has been cold with the wind racing down the Tyne Valley. As a result, I wasn't hanging around outside to take too many other blips.
