Moving Day 2

Started moving my studio to the dormer room yesterday. I am surprisingly unaffected by the loss of some of my cabinetry. The bottom layer (stackable shelving and drawers) of all my work units suffered from water damage either from mildew or mildew smell or mold or just damage to the fixture making it unusable. I am sorting through using the pieces that were on top of the bottom layer to reconstruct my large work station. I will lose out on some drying shelves and storage but will be creative in how to fix that. It will be lovely to get rid of the damaged pieces and finally be able to scrub out the floors in the basement.

The next project once my studio has been fully moved is to address the ceiling in my odd little cement room that is under the front porch. The ceiling is wood under the concrete and cannot be removed. It developed mold and the insulation that is next to it all has to be removed and the mold cleaned and controlled. Never dull owning a home, is it. This project I will be hiring help. to do it.
