Olive blue

This olive tree, like so many other trees around the village, has been treated with la bouillie bordelaise, copper sulphate, allowed in organic agriculture as a fungicide and used liberally in gardens (often on tomato plants) and vineyards. I spotted it on the way back from visiting a wine domaine owned by friends of friends, with an open day today for tasting wines, charcuterie and chocolate.....of course, we came home with a good selection of all three!
