We're Off!

Five months to the day after arriving in Long Beach, California we are leaving for Mexico. Our daughter's apartment (her balcony hammock barely visible), which she so willingly shared with us, is behind our loaded car. We now officially have less stuff than she does. Save for a couple of boxes in her closet, all we own is loaded in our Mountaineer (with a few things on top), while she has an apartment full of things to keep her comfortable in the coming years. My wife is smiling as she anticipates the trip south. Twenty-two hours in the car according to Google Maps before we pull into Zihuatanejo Monday morning.
