And a partridge in a pear tree

This year's Christmas Fair theme is 12 days of Christmas so obviously the afternoon was spent turning the entrance hall into a pear tree forest complete with partridges decorates by the kids. The next few hours were lost in a haze of moving stuff around which, as it went by very quickly, I can only assume my psyche found lots of fun. Will be back there early in the morning to finish all the things we didn't manage before the caretaker kicked us out. Having had some very grumpy moments about doing the fair and moaning about 'other people' today has been very jolly, everyone has been very cheery and I'm feeling quite excited about tomorrow now.

After a nice evening on the sofa with a chilled beer and a take-out.
