Angler's Delight

Well another stunning sunrise, this cannot go on. Have I just not noticed that even with a dull grey day like today has been, the brief golden hour is this common? Another journey to work, I am actually setting off earlier if the omens are good to bag a blip en route. This morning the canal was aglow, but hey I've done that, so heading to the old canal basin behind the indusrial bakery of yesterday's blip, I discovered a stile which led me to the Woodshaw Angling club pond. This is probably an old drainage facility of the Woodshaw Colliery, whose waste heaps lie just out of shot. But anyway a pleasing blip, out of not much except the wonderful light.
