Window Detail

I have a 'thing' about windows. Well, windows and chairs. The windows where we are this week in the little garden studio in Sao Paolo are beautiful: old, really solid, heavily framed ones. And clean! They must be clean. Probably says something about my Scottish Presbytarian upbringing! Bb and I were both up and out early and separately this morning with different schedules and I liked the light coming in here.

This week in SP has gone by so fast! It's been fun being back in this huge metropolis again with all that comes with it: noise, traffic, energy, such choice of shops and restaurants, and what's been noticeable more than anything else is just how incredibly stylish and cutting edge things are here compared to similar areas in Rio. When we used to go to Rio from SP when we lived here, it used to take us a few days to feel 'easy' in shorts and havainas. Now it's the other way round and we feel like the seaside bumpkins! Back to our flip flops tomorrow.
